MAKING A DIRECT IMPACT ON COMMUNITIES

In the last year, our 60+ member clinics reported:

  • 65,000+ vulnerable Virginians were treated regardless of their ability to pay
  • 276,000+ patient visits
  • 9,900+ licensed healthcare professional and lay volunteers donated their time

A solid investment of resources for greater healthcare impact, our member clinics leveraged a collective operating budget of $49 million in the past year into $203 million worth of care – made possible through collaborative partnerships, in-kind support and the generosity of volunteers as well as a generous state appropriation which the VAFCC administers and disperses directly to member clinics for care provided to uninsured adult patients.
